General Conditions of Sale
Terms, where given, are 30 days net, unless otherwise agreed by TyreLab.
TyreLab reserves the right to disallow any trade discounts in the case of late payment.
Where accepted, goods returned for credit are subject to a 10% handling charge. The invoice must
accompany any goods returned.
Ownership of all goods supplied shall remain the ownership of TyreLab until they have been paid for in full. Furthermore, TyreLab shall be entitled to retake possession of such goods in the event of non-payment by due date, or in the event of the final liquidation or judicial management, of the customer (whether provisional or final).
Should any goods have to be transported by any other carrier to the customer, delivery by us to such carriers shall constitute delivery to the customer, even though the freight charges may be pre-paid by us for the customers convenience.
Risk
Risk in any goods supplied by us shall pass to the customer on delivery.
Motor Spares
Goods correctly supplied are not exchangeable or refundable, or may be subject to a 10% handling charge. No refunds or exchanges on electrical goods. All faulty or exchange goods will only be accepted for set-off subject to manufacturer’s inspection.
Damaged brake cores will not be considered for offset, and only similar cores to the goods for supply will be acceptable.
Refunds for battery cores / brake lining cores, will only be given within 30 days of goods supplied.
Deposits
Goods on special order require a minimum deposit of 50% of the sale value. Such deposits are not refundable in the event of cancellation of orders.
Lay-bye transactions will be valid for a period not exceeding 90 days. Any monies paid towards expired laybyes shall be deemed to be forfeited, and any refunds shall be entirely at the discretion of management.
These conditions overrule any conditions appearing on any buying order, customer requisition, customers indent, purchase note, or any other form of requisition or confirmation relating to our supply of any goods. These conditions will be binding unless specifically accepted by us in writing.
No replacement parts, or loan parts will be supplied by us in the event of returned goods being sent for manufacturer’s inspection, or other delays that may arise during exchange/refund procedures.
Under no circumstances will we accept any liability in the event of failure to deliver goods.
All promotions and special offers (“Promotions”) offered by TyreLab are subject to change without notice.
The duration and terms of each Promotion will be clearly communicated on our website, in-store, or through other official TyreLab communication channels.
Eligibility
a. Promotions are open to customers who meet the specified eligibility criteria outlined for each individual offer.
b. TyreLab reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any participant who does not meet the criteria.
Offer Redemption
a. To redeem a Promotion, customers must follow the instructions provided during the promotional period.
b. TyreLab is not responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to website malfunctions, that may prevent the successful redemption of an offer.
Exclusions and Limitations
a. Promotions cannot be combined with any other offers unless explicitly stated.
b. TyreLab reserves the right to exclude certain products or services from promotional offers.
Modification or Cancellation
a. TyreLab reserves the right to modify or cancel any Promotion at any time without prior notice.
b. In the event of a modification or cancellation, TyreLab will make reasonable efforts to communicate the changes promptly.
Disclaimer of Liability
a. TyreLab is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by participation in or inability to participate in a Promotion.
b. TyreLab is not responsible for any errors or inaccuracies in promotional materials, including but not limited to pricing errors.
Governing Law
a. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with Promotions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Magistrates courts in Scottburgh, KwaZulu-Natal.

TyreLab reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Customers are encouraged to review this policy periodically for changes.
Should any goods prove defective due to faulty workmanship or material, we will repair, or at our discretion, replace any items supplied by us in the case of:
Towbars
For the life of the vehicle to which it was originally fitted.
Shock Absorbers
For two years from fitting to motor cars and light commercial vehicles with a maximum of 1000kg load capacity, and one year on medium and heavy commercial vehicles, or 30 000km whichever is the shorter period.
Trailers
For twelve months from date of purchase. This excludes wheel bearings and tyres.
Tyres
As determined by the tyre manufacturer.
Mild Steel Exhaust Systems
Within one year of fitting.
Stainless Steel Exhaust Systems
Within five years of fitting.
Batteries
As determined by the manufacturer.
Replaced components are only guaranteed for the remainder of the initial invoice guarantee period provided that:
We shall have been given notice of such defect within thirty six hours of the defect having manifested itself.
If the item in question has been affixed, our obligation shall be limited to the repair or furnishing of a new item in the place of the old, and the customer shall be responsible for the cost of the removal of the old and the affixing of the new.
The above undertaking shall automatically lapse should the item in question have been fitted otherwise than in accordance to our instructions, or if the defect is deemed to have resulted from misuse, impact, or fault on behalf of the customer.
Other than the above mentioned undertakings by us, no liability shall attach to us, and no claim shall be maintainable against us from any cause whatsoever arising out of, or in connection with any goods supplied by us and under no circumstances shall we be liable for consequential loss, loss of profit or any other damages arising from or in connection with our supply of the goods.
No variation of, or addition to any of these conditions shall be of any force or effect unless recorded in writing under our signature.
